Christmas with Santa Clarita United Methodist Church

Sunday, November 29, 2020 marks the beginning of advent. The word, “advent” is derived from the Latin adventus, which means “coming” or “arrival.” Whose arrival? Jesus Christ. He is God’s greatest gift for all of us, through him we are reconciled to God and received forgiveness, eternal life and the privilege to become God’s children.
With everything we went through as a community and as a nation, I say it’s time for us to focus on the very Gift God has given us. Let’s focus on healing, forgiving, reconciling, and living as God’s children shining His light through us with kindness and love.
May this Christmas restore joy, hope, love and peace back into all of our hearts.
