Military Honor Christmas Tree & Menorah

To be displayed at Veterans Historical Plaza, 24275 Walnut St, Newhall, CA 91321, November 21st through New Year’s Day. The red, white, and blue Christmas Tree & Menorah will be lit every night. Military families and community members are welcome to visit the tree, or even drive by. Due to Covid-19 safety measures, Santa Clarita’s 15th annual lighting event could not be scheduled this year. The heartfelt ceremony, hosted by Prayer Angels for the Military, and local veterans groups, is normally presented on the 1st Saturday of December. Photos of hometown military, past and present, are laminated on stars and proudly displayed on the tree. The Blue Stars represent. Photos of veterans are on the White Stars, and the Gold Stars represent local family members who died while serving our country.
Remembering our veterans, troops, and their families, and all the sacrifices made protecting our freedoms, is so important. A blessing to us all. Prayers, and well wishes are still needed for the safety of our troops, and the well being of our veterans.
