The Brittany Foundation Finding Their Forever Home – March 2021

by | Feb 24, 2021 | Pet Services

A non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.

DERBY

This gentle and kind girl was one of four dogs surrendered to us from the same home. She is about 10 years old, about 30 lbs. and possibly a Jackabee; that is, Beagle and Parsons Jack Russell mix but, of course, we can never be sure. She is super chill, enjoys short leisurely walks, and gets along well with other dogs. She does have obvious signs of arthritis so she will take medication daily to help her with mobility. We think her angelic eyes say it all and we hope someone will find it in their heart to give her a calm and loving home where she will only know warmth and kindness.

CHESNEY

This guy is quite a catch. He is one of four dogs that were surrendered to us from the same home. He basically has lived outdoors his whole life but is such a love. He is great on a leash, enjoys being around other dogs, big and small, and adores attention from anyone. We think he is around 10 years old, about 60 lbs. and possibly a Labrador/Boxer mix, but we can never really know for sure. If frosted faces steal your heart then he’s the one for you.

BOWIE

Such a cool little dude, Bowie keeps his room really neat, walks great on a leash and has lived with many different dogs during his time here. This year will mark 3 years that he has been with us. He is 10 years old, just 10 lbs. and is a Chihuahua with maybe a dash of Corgi. It’s possible that his age has been the reason he is passed over time and time again, we are just not sure. When he is not hanging with the other little dogs here you can find him quietly chewing on a Nylabone. If you are looking for a faithful friend who will never leave your side, this is the guy for you.

JAKE

He has been living here for over 3 years. He had a home for the first 8 years of his life but unfortunately after a new dog was brought into the home he was surrendered here. He is fun, a great co-pilot, loving, enjoys short walks and wants nothing more than someone to share a couch with. He was never properly socialized with other dogs so he can only be placed as the only dog which we think is part of the reason he has been here for so long. If you are looking for a low-key, absolutely adorable, big bundle of love who just needs a second chance, please pick Jake.
