Help Us Save a Life!

by | Jul 2, 2021 | Community

Our good friend, a Santa Clarita wife and mother of two is in need!  A local pharmacist and USC graduate who has worked hard to get to where she is today, desperately needs your help.  She is in kidney failure due to polycystic kidney disease and is in need of a kidney transplant.
14 years ago, multiple kidney cysts were incidentally found during a pregnancy ultrasound.  In spite of aggressive treatment by her nephrologist, kidney MRIs and monthly lab tests have shown the rapid decline in function and growth in size of her kidneys.  Currently, she is in kidney failure with only 17% kidney function remaining.  She will need a transplant by 15%.
She has recently been placed on the transplant list.  As you know, finding a suitable donor is very difficult and can take years.  Finding a living donor would drastically reduce that time and potentially prevent her from ever needing dialysis.
She has asked to remain anonymous solely for the sake of protecting her children.  Once there is a genuine interest in being a potential donor, we would be willing to share more information.  If you feel that you would be willing to donate the gift of life to this very deserving and sweet woman, please contact us through the e-mail address below:
