VIA RUBY BALL Celebrating 40 years of Serving SCV Businesses
On Friday, November 5, the Valley Industry Association (VIA) will celebrate 40 Years of successfully representing business interests throughout the Santa Clarita Valley with a special celebration – “The Ruby Ball.” The Valley Industry Association, a business-to-business organization, serves a membership blend of industrial, commercial, and service companies, and additionally offers opportunities to collaborate on a broad range of business issues.
We are excited to celebrate our 40th anniversary, and what an amazing 40 years it has been! Established in 1981, VIA enjoys a rich history of serving business in the Santa Clarita Valley and as we enter our 40th anniversary year there is no better way to celebrate than with an evening at the Ruby Ball. Our annual BASH is being held on Friday, November 5th at 7PM at the Hyatt Regency Valencia.
In addition to celebrating our members, this event also serves as a fundraiser for the VIA Connecting to Success Program. VIA Connecting to Success is a high impact workforce preparation program in a business conference format. Over 100 volunteer mentors from the business community lead students through role-playing, case studies, group discussions, and individual assessments to build workplace professionalism, and the ability to influence others as responsible adults. Now in its 19th year, Connecting to Success has grown to include all high schools in the William S. Hart Union High School District, as well as select charter schools.
The Ruby Ball includes sponsorships and opportunities in several different categories. Offered this year are the Ruby Title Sponsorship, Scarlet Sponsor, and Crimson Sponsorships. Additionally, the Red-Hot Sponsorship is available to assist in supporting the VIA Connecting to Success Program. Each $20 Red Hot Sponsorship sends one student through the Connecting to Success Program and better equips them to enter the world of work.
We’d like to offer special thanks to our event sponsors, Advanced Audiology, Alliance Integrated Technology, City of Santa Clarita, College of the Canyons, Fivepoint, Logix Federal Credit Union, Santa Clarita Magazine/Elite Magazine, Mission View Public School, QM Design Group, Soroptimist International of Greater SCV, Southern California Edison, The Signal and Vance Wealth.
We hope you will consider joining us for this special evening of special celebration and recognition. For full information about the event and all sponsorship levels, please visit www.via.org/via-bash/ or contact Kathy Norris in the VIA Office at (661) 294-8088.
