The Best of the Best

On Sunday, November 14th, from 11 AM – 5 PM, Assistance League of Santa Clarita will celebrate the creativity of the human spirit at our annual event, A Day of Art. It will be held at our store, located at 26045 Bouquet Canyon Road. We have been collecting items embracing a large range of artistic expression including oils, watercolors, lithographs, sculptures, art glass, silver, pottery, antiques and much more. Designer brand clothing and accessories for men and women will be found in the boutique. The jewelry department will have watches, turquoise, gold, vintage costume jewelry and more. There will be a variety of other treasures including vintage china, crystal, western items and collectibles. A generous patron has donated a beautiful limited edition bronze sculpture by Erte’, “Asian Princess”.
Local guest artists Sandy Fisher and Laurie Morgan will join us and interact with customers during the event as they create their own special paintings. In addition, we will showcase some of their artwork and it will be available for purchase.
Longtime member volunteers, Cheryl Carlson and Carolyn Tranovich, are leading a remarkable team of ladies that will transform our resale store into an art gallery and boutique.
Proceeds from A Day of Art will help fund our philanthropic programs to benefit the residents of the Santa Clarita Valley. In particular, Operation School Bell® and icare for kids are two of our programs that provide school clothes, eye exams and eyeglasses at no cost to our participants.
