Your Story is My Story

I’d love to introduce you to a wonderful family, the Warne’s. August 2018 Rustin Warne was referred to me after being turned down by two lenders. I listened to his story. I said, “Rustin, my lender Anna Shaterkin with Loan Depot and I will never turn you down. Let’s meet and we’ll help you set up a plan to get you into a home. He was a single Dad with two little boys and a beautiful fiancé, Samantha Spigelman. Anna and I met with Samantha and Rustin at Salt Creek Grille. Anna set up a plan for them that was comfortable, but disciplined. They now had hope and a plan to help them achieve their dream. By March they were ready to start looking for a home with a pre-approval letter from Anna. In April they closed escrow on their small 843 sq’, two bedroom/one bath condo. Anna and I have become part of their family. We celebrated their wedding, kept in touch through the holidays and other times of the year. Months ago I received a call from Samantha, “Holly, I’m pregnant, we need a bigger house!” Anna and I got to work crunching numbers. I sold their condo and got them into escrow on a four bedroom house. They signed loan documents on a Tuesday evening, I called Samantha the next morning to find out when she’d be wiring the money. She answered the phone, I hear her breathing heavily. I said, “Oh my gosh, are you wiring your money today or having a baby?” She said, between heavy breathing, “We’re heading to the hospital to have our baby.” I said, “OK, go have your baby and I’m sure everyone will be understanding and happy, I’ll talk to you tomorrow!” That day I received pictures that brought tears to my eyes. As I was looking at their pictures, seeing how happy they were in this precious moment, it dawned on me, this is what it’s all about. Helping my clients find their home, their safe place, a place where they’ll create lifetime memories with their families, celebrating birthdays, holidays, friendships, new babies, graduations and memories that are their story. The Warne’s are settled into their BIG house with their three boys. I am honored to have helped them and so many other families with their stories. It warms my heart. I am a grandmother, I’ve been in real estate over 40 years, I believe in home ownership, I take care of my clients like I’d want someone to take care of my kids. This is my passion.
