Show Support for Local Kids with Cancer: Join the Walk 4 MHF Saturday, April 30, 2022
If you received the unimaginable news that your child had cancer, would you know where to turn? For families in the Santa Clarita and surrounding valleys, the Michael Hoefflin Foundation for Children’s Cancer has been a leader in providing resources and care for over 27 years.
To further the effort of helping families battling pediatric cancer, the Michael Hoefflin Foundation will host its Walk 4 MHF on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at College of the Canyons Cougar Stadium. To register or make a donation, please go to www.MHF.org. All funds raised from the Walk will directly to support the Michael Hoefflin Foundation and its services. This year’s goal is to raise $75,000.
MHF helps families in many ways, including providing gas and grocery gift cards, counseling sessions, family fun events, advocacy and support during treatment and at times of bereavement. Cancer affects the patient and each and every family member. MHF exists to help them through this difficult time.
“The pandemic has hit everyone hard. And families dealing with pediatric cancer even harder,” said Sue Hoefflin, co-Founder of the MHF. “We need our community’s help more than ever this year to further our mission of Hope, Help and Healing. Thank you!”
The walk/run will begin at 9 a.m., with registration at 8 a.m. The fundraiser will take place rain or shine, and current LA County Covid protocols will be followed.
The Michael Hoefflin Foundation for children’s cancer is a public non-profit 501(c) (3) foundation serving children and families touched by pediatric cancer in the Santa Clarita and surrounding valleys. For more information please contact us at (661) 250-4100 or go to www.MHF.org.
