Congratulations to Dick Harris, Valencia, the winner of the February Magazine of Santa Clarita photo of the month contest. With a theme like Valentines Day, where often times the emphasis is so often on romantic couples, we loved the approach Harris took of photographing the love between a father and son. Scott Olmsted and his son Thomas were his subject matter.
“You can see the love in their eyes. I noticed the clarity of the son’s innocence coming through the photograph combined with the look of responsibility and pride in the father’s expression,” said Harris.
Harris will be receiving a $50 gift certificate to enjoy dinner at The Roast House. Happy dining Dick and keep on capturing lovely photographic memories. They’re priceless.
