In the case of the Magathon contest, luck, cause and effect all come together in a grand way.  The luck part has to have a little help from you because if you don’t play, there is no way for you to win.  That is, you need to open up your checkbook, pick up a pen and scribble your signature.  Address the check, lick a stamp and run, don’t walk to the post office box to mail it.

Seriously, why would you want to miss a chance to win a possible $80,000 cash prize (amount based on total entry dollars received)?  That’s a huge hunk of change for such a tiny investment of your money for a good cause, our area hospital.  Don’t just think about entering, do it.

Here’s what you have to gain from sending in your entry ($10):
a.       A chance to win a cash prize.
b.      The happiness that comes from knowing that 90 percent of your dollar entry will go directly toward Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital Foundation.

You may be feeling great today, but, who knows when you will need the care of a first-rate area hospital?

Don’t wait until it’s too late.  Do your part and with some luck, you could be the grand prize winner to be drawn May 19.
