The Magazine of Santa Clarita is starting a new monthly column, featuring less fortunate children who need the love and support of a family.  Open your hearts and home to these children.  If you think you can take on the challenges of raising them, who knows, you may be surprised by how they add and enrich your family with all of the love and appreciation they will shower you, if only they could be adopted and given a permanent home.

Search your soul and meet our first siblings.

Crystal is an easygoing and delightful Latina 8-year-old.  She takes pleasure in coloring, playing with dolls and riding a scooter.  Crystal is in the second grade and receives tutor services on a weekly basis.  She has mild hearing loss in her left ear; therefore, her language skills are delayed.  Crystal is the eldest child and possesses a quiet strength.  She is bonded to her siblings and relishes in the role of a protector.

Crystal’s sister, Destiny is an adorable Latina girl who is a bundle of energy and enjoys exploring her environment.  She is a sociable child who loves singing and dancing.  Destiny has developmental delay and receives services from Regional Center.  She attends a preschool and is highly active.  Destiny would greatly benefit from a structured environment.

Their brother, Eziekiel is a charming Latino toddler who loves being held and giving and receiving hugs.  Playing with blocks, bubbles and balls are a few of his favorite things.  Eziekiel is a healthy child who sleeps and eats well.  Eziekiel is at age level and can walk, feed himself finger foods and drink out of a cup.
This sibling set of three needs a family that will assist them in meeting their full potential and one to call their own.

If you would like to provide them with a permanent home, call Children’s Bureau at 661-272-9996 or e-mail mmorris@all4kids.org.
