Linda Gray — best known for her long-running portrayal of Sue Ellen Ewing on television’s Dallas — made a special appearance at the Theatre Project Santa Clarita Valley’s “Salon Series” held at the home of Carl and Jeri Goldman on March 2.

Composer/recording artist extraordinaire Scotch Ellis-Loring lit up the evening, singing the romantic songs as part of the “de-lovely” theme saluting the works of Noel Coward and Cole Porter.  Other celebrity performances included appearances by Broadway performers Julia Gregory (Showboat, Joseph, Damn Yankees) and Victoria Oscar (Annie, Les Misérables).  Guests enjoyed wine and light hors d’oeuvres, while taking in the musical and dramatic performances.  Board member Steve Sturgeon was on hand to encourage membership in the Theatre Project’s Corporate 100, a core group of local businesses joined to support the creation of a new Santa Clarita Valley theatre company that will bring a new variety of professional theatre close to home, with an emphasis on great Broadway musicals.Image
