KTLW, heard in the Santa Clarita Valley at 91.9 FM, is a listener supported, non-commercial broadcast outreach of Life On The Way Communications, an auxiliary ministry of The Church On The Way of Van Nuys and its new North Campus on Cinema Drive in Santa Clarita.
From our flagship station (88.9 FM in Lancaster) and a dozen satellite-fed FM outlets in seven states (including 91.9 FM serving Santa Clarita), KTLW broadcasts music and ministry features 24-hours-a-day, which consistently communicate the love of God and the true joy of Spirit-filled Christian living.
Our objectives are to use modern means and methods which are innovative, informative and inspirational so that KTLW will be:
1. A Conduit of Inspiration: “…teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord…” (Col. 3:16). Radio can be heard almost anywhere: in the shower, on the road, at the lake. KTLW can go with you to be the means of ministry and inspiration you need all through your day. We can help you find God 24-hours-a-day.
2. A Doorway for Outreach: reaching to the world beyond the local church to evangelize, minister, teach, confront and comfort. We believe that through our Sound Alternative some listeners are evangelized, others are taught, more are challenged and all are built up in the Lord, rather than being pulled down, as they might be by other media.
3. A Network for Communication: sharing ideas, ministries and tools within the Church. The Religion Desk is a welcome companion to most top-of-the-hour newscasts. We learn what God is doing in our world and rejoice. Other innovative and informative programs provide Christian education, entertainment and enlightenment.
4. A Catalyst for Change: stimulating and assisting the surrounding communities in spiritual and social betterment, helping believers to find increased, “Favor with God and man.” (Luke 2:52) Having a living faith, our listeners are challenged to show their, “Faith by [their] works.” (James 2:18)
5. A Mirror for Self-Reflection: promoting self-discovery and recurring cycles of Christian growth. The music and ministry heard over KTLW stimulates honest reflection and holy relationships as we individually, “Press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:12-14)
