Exotic animals from around the world will visit with children and their families Tuesday, July 3, during an evening Family Fun for Nature Nuts program at Descanso Gardens. Many captive-bred and rescued exotic animals will be introduced in a nurturing program by a team of biologists called The Animal Guys.
The event, part of Descanso’s popular summer evening series, will begin at 5:30 p.m. for bring-your-own picnics at the Garden’s Café Court. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Under the Oaks Theater, where bench seating is first-come, first-served.
Future Family Fun for Nature Nuts programs will be presented by Wildlife on Wheels, July 10; Avian Entertainment, July 17 and Razzle Bam Boom, July 24.
Per-person fees for single events are $12, $10 for members. Children under 2 years of age are admitted free. Seating is first-come, first-served at the time of each event.
