Over 300 employees were relocated, when Child Care Resource Center’s (CCRC) new Chatsworth Headquarters opened on Monday, June 25th at 20001 Prairie Street, just west of Northridge Fashion Center Mall.

CCRC brings with them incredible family resources that have been split between office locations in Van Nuys and Northridge.  For CCRC’s Board of Directors and Executive Management, the relocation to one office is an accomplishment since office space for large employers is traditionally hard to find in the San Fernando Valley.

CCRC’s new homes is a one-stop-shop for families who may visit to borrow free books and toys, attend a parenting workshop or meet with a specialist to help them find child care and if eligible, receive financial help to pay for child care.  The new office will also be a hub of resources for child care providers with early care and education and health and safety workshops, a book, toy and resource lending Library, as well as information on child care licensing and child care business practices.

“The community is going to have better access to us with all of our resources under one roof,” said CCRC President and CEO Michael Olenick.

CCRC currently operates from a corporate office in Van Nuys with additional programs and services located at its Northridge satellite office.  CCRC also has a full-service location in Lancaster and 15 Head Start locations, which will remain at their current addresses.

CCRC closed the doors of its two Mid-Valley offices for the last time at close of business on Thursday, June 21st.
