The VIA “007 Style” Bash was held on June 22 at the Mann Bio Medical Park. As well as dinner, silent auction and dancing to a live band, VIA took this opportunity to recognize local businesses and individuals.
Awards were given in several categories. College of the Canyons was honored as Business of the Year; the award was accepted by Bruce Fortine a college trustee. Peter Goossens, owner of The Loose Goose Wine Company, was honored with the Rising Star award and Randy Moberg, COO of L/B/W Insurance and Financial Services, was recognized as VIA’s Volunteer of the Year. Connie Worden-Roberts received VIA’s first Lifetime Achievement award, which was accepted by her son Leon Worden.
