I loved everything that I tried at Pho Love. Pho Love specializes in Vietnamese cuisine. Phong Nugyen – the chef at Pho Love – is known for making really good soup known as Pho as well as many other Vietnamese dishes. Each meal that Andy and Sun Hong – owners of Pho Love – served received praise from us at The Magazine of Santa Clarita.

We would bite into something and quickly label it as our favorite. The next item would come out and that would just as rapidly become our next prized dish. We first started off with the summer rolls and the egg rolls for our appetizers. The summer roll tasted so fresh, light, healthy and delicious. The summer roll is wrapped with rice paper and is stuffed with shrimp and lettuce and is served with a peanut sauce. This would be perfect for someone cutting back on carbs. The egg roll will melt in your mouth. Either would be a great appetizer.

Our main meal consisted of the vermicelle with beef which is a combination of noodles, beef, carrots, peanuts, lettuce and an egg roll. This meal is very delicious. I will definitely order this as my main meal next time. This meal made me sorry that I had not tried Pho Love before this visit. We then moved on and tried the Com Suon Nuong which is a char broiled pork chop with steamed rice- very scrumptious as well. We finished our lunch with the seafood bowl which contained shrimp, noodles, and a fish ball. This is a warm soup that is perfect as a main meal.

Everything we ate satisfied our taste buds tremendously and filled our tummies. We were not expecting dessert when Andy and Sun brought us Thai iced tea, Vietnamese iced coffee and boba drinks- tapioca shaped into pearls in either a Thai iced tea, Vietnamese iced coffee or different flavored fruit smoothies. When you drink boba, a fat straw is used so when you are sipping on your favorite drink, a boba pearl can fit into your straw and you are munching and drinking at the same time. I love boba because not only are you able to slurp on a yummy drink, but you are also getting a snack to chew on while you are drinking. How perfect is that? A great snack or dessert.

Andy and Sun are so warm and friendly. It is obvious that they enjoy serving delicious meals to the community of Santa Clarita. When you walk into Pho Love, it is almost like being invited into a good friend’s home.
As Arnold Swarchenegger would say, “I’ll be back.”
