What are the common symptoms of intestinal toxicity? Fatigue, headaches, addictions, constipation, diarrhea, excess weight, aching joints, stomach bloat, sinus problems, gas, bad breath, allergies, slow metabolism, body odor, skin problems, lower back pain, menstrual cramps, depression, irritability, weakened immune system and low energy. If any of these symptoms sound familiar, colon irrigation could be of great benefit.
Is intestinal toxicity a common condition? Yes and toxicity is not limited to the colon. Toxic material can be found throughout the body, fat tissue, joints, arteries, kidneys, liver, gallbladder, muscles, lungs, skin pores, etc. Colon irrigation could eliminate large quantities of toxic waste affecting the condition of the entire body.
Will laxatives, enemas or suppositories accomplish the same results as colon irrigation?
No. Laxatives are considered to be an irritant and stimulant to the colon. They draw water from the body and produce a thin watery substance that clears only the most recently digested waste from the colon and leaves behind impacted waste on the colon walls. Enemas clean out the lower part of the rectum and colon, but miss about four to five feet of colon. Suppositories stimulate a bowel movement when constipation is already present. It will only empty a small portion of the fecal contents.
How is colon irrigation different?
While lying on your back and being completely covered, gallons of water are used internally to gently flush the five to six feet of colon in a 50-minute to one-hour session. Sometimes, it may take several sessions to cleanse the entire colon, depending upon the individual. A sterile, (single-use only) plastic tube (the diameter of a pencil) that you insert approximately one and one-half to two inches delivers a cup to no more than two quarts of water to gently flow in at any one time. Water flows in and toxins flow out. It’s like taking a shower on the inside of your body. With an experienced, certified colon hydrotherapist, additional waste can be eliminated by massage, pressure points, reflexology and breathing techniques. The colon hydrotherapist is able to work loose and eliminate more toxic waste than any other short-term detox therapy. Subsequent colonics will remove even more waste including some that has been sitting in your colon for some time. The number of colon irrigation sessions you require will depend upon your personal objectives of rejuvenating, maintaining or regaining your health.
