Sui H. Zhao and Amy Lee Acupuncture & Herbs invites you to experience efficient, friendly and professional patient care at their new location. Treatments are available for sports injuries, stress, cosmetic issues, chronic diseases, and for patients recovering from surgery, strokes or chemotherapy and radiation therapies. The pair were the most popular clinicians where they recently worked together and decided to team up to provide excellent and experienced healthcare that combines the best of Western and Oriental medicine in the Santa Clarita Valley.
Zhao specializes in pain management and has treated many patients whose acute or chronic pain could not be relieved by taking medications. A California Medical Board Certified doctor, Zhao was a practicing anesthesiologist and pediatrician in her native China. Stateside, she was an anesthesiologist at White Memorial Medical Center and has been affiliated with USC’s University Hospital and City of Hope National Medical Center, where her work focused on cancer and post-operative patients. In an effort to spend more time with her family, she now practices alternative medicine. She enjoys helping people by applying her knowledge of the benefits of both Western and Eastern medicine.
Lee graduated with a degree in psychology in Taiwan and began her career as a hospital counselor. She left her native country to join her sister in the United States and to study computer science. Ten years ago, her father was diagnosed with diabetes and heart problems, and, upon investigating alternative medicine, found a master of Chinese medicine. Lee accompanied her father to his appointments and eventually became the master’s student. He encouraged her to learn Western medicine, and she chose to pursue a master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is now a licensed acupuncturist who specializes in exploring the body/mind connection, working to create balance in her patient’s lives to strengthen their overall health.
