On Thursday, September 13, 2007, Dr. Ann Kim and the staff of Advanced Vision Care Optometry opened their doors to approximately 50 guests for grand opening ceremonies.
Dr. Ann Kim, owner of Advanced Vision Care, has been serving the Santa Clarita Valley as an optometrist at LensCrafters through its location at the Valencia Town Center Mall for the last 12 years. She launched Advanced Vision Care in April 2007 so that she may better serve her patients and the community.
To further establish her dedication to the needs of the community, Dr. Kim announced that she has chosen to work with Circle of Hope, a local non-profit organization. Circle of Hope provides financial and emotional support to those families affected by breast cancer who live, work, or receive treatment in the Santa Clarita Valley. Dr. Kim is very proud to be working closely with Circle of Hope and plans to donate glasses and provide eye exams beginning in October to Circle of Hope’s clients.
Representatives from the Marchon Group held a trunk show for everyone’s enjoyment. Adam Smith, of Calvin Klein, Robb Rey of Fendi and David Gutierrez of Michael Kors were there to show off the latest in fashion eyewear. The three gentlemen assisted guests in selecting eyewear that best suited their features. Guests enjoyed modeling frames from the groups’ 2007 and 2008 lines; this was the highlight of the evening. Through the Marchon Group, Rob, David, and Adam have generously donated frames from their high fashion line to Dr. Kim’s practice in support of her Circle of Hope donation.
