We’re a new business based in Valencia, owned and operated by a husband and wife who have been residents of the Santa Clarita Valley for nine years. The Club applies the concept of timeshare to the use of exotic cars. The Club owns and services the cars and Club members have the right to use the cars. The cars can be used up to one week at a time, on a reservation basis. We have three levels of membership: Platinum (24 weeks per year), Gold (18 weeks per year), and Silver (12 weeks per year).
The Club has a Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari 550 Maranello, Porsche 911 Turbo, Maserati Coupe and other cars. As membership in the Club grows, we will be adding the Ferrari 360 Modena, Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Porsche 911 4S Cabriolet and other exotics to the stable. We will have coupes and convertibles, and a variety of transmission types, including six-speed manual, e-gear, F1 and automatic with tiptronic, paddle or other type of shifting option.
We just signed our first member a couple of weeks ago. He took the Porsche 911 Turbo for his first drive, for a week vacation with his wife. They took a long 500 or so mile trip, first going up North on the 5 to Visalia for a picnic, then cutting through the hills and mountains to San Luis Obispo to see their son in college, and then coming back down the beautiful 101 freeway through Santa Barbara. They had a wonderful time. They put down notes of their trip – their thoughts on the car, their experiences and their driving route. Their notes will go up on the Club’s website, in an area reserved for Club members called “Suggested Driving Experiences,” complete with itineraries, maps and suggestions on places to stay, eat and visit.
That’s one of our visions of the Club; it’s more than just offering exotic cars to members, it’s about helping Club members have great experiences, where the car is just one instrument in that experience. We have plans to help Club members have all sorts of great experiences with the cars in Southern California, from San Diego to San Luis Obispo and all places in between. Whether it’s quiet time as a romantic couple, visible time at important social or business events, impressing that important client or vendor, or private time just the Club member and the car on a winding road. We also will be organizing all sorts of events for Club members, including go-kart racing, wine tasting, fine dining, car meets and otherwise.
We are very excited about this Club and really look forward to bringing to the residents of SCV another luxury goods/services company available only in the finer cities of the world.
