Dr. Elloway was born and raised on a farm in Saskatchewan, Canada. He remembers going to school in a horse and buggy. The educational style was British, where the teacher had a couple of straps in her desk, one large one and one small one. There was no doubt the kids knew if they didn’t listen or if they misbehaved, they would get one of those straps. Dr. Elloway attributes his listening skills to those early days and it actually served him well all through college and into his career. Even today, he is one good listener.
