Have you made your New Year’s Resolution yet?  Throughout the years I have often overheard or spoken with people talking about the many different New Year’s Resolutions that they have had or how they are trying to adhere to the ones from the past.  Many people have resolutions, including everything from losing weight to conquering a particular fear in life. One resolution that I have hardly ever heard people speak of is fixing their skin troubles.  Now granted, I am in the industry, so this would obviously bother me more than a person who is not in my field, however, I find it amazing that most resolutions people make, mainly focus on how they look but they seem to look right past their skin?  I find that very troubling since your skin is the biggest organ of the body and you stare at it every single day.

One of the first things you notice when a person walks into a room is usually their face, so it’s not a small insignificant thing; it’s your face.  All of us at one time or another have been introduced or encountered skin problems such as acne, sun-damage or scars.  Some of these same people are on vigorous weight-loss diet plans, tanning themselves at the local tanning booths or considering plastic surgery.

First and foremost, one of the most important and confidence-building decisions a person can make is to get their skin in order.  You would be amazed at the number of clients we see who experience such a transformation with their skin after just a few short treatments.  This change actually changes the client’s entire demeanor and outlook on their future.  Many remark that they never realized how much their troubled skin was holding them back in life.  In addition, once we break through that insecurity barrier and regain the client’s confidence level, they are then able to hold their head high and take on other challenges in their lives, like loosing weight for example.

In closing, I guess the moral to this story is when looking into the changes that you are going to make this year, don’t forget to consider the skin right under your nose.  Remember that there are many diets out there, even ones for your skin!  Carol L.
