I remember when my Grandfather could no longer take care of himself, and it was then that my mother and I set out to find a beautiful and caring residential home for him to comfortably reside. Being Jewish, we tried looking for a home with Jewish values and considerations, however, we were unable to find one that suited our needs. Though Santa Clarita is a beautiful area, it didn’t quite have the home that we were looking for. It was then that I came up with the idea that I could create an inviting and unique residential home with outstanding care for seniors, provide kosher style food along with a highly trained staff. I could create a home where they could live and enjoy their remaining years in comfort and serenity. As a result of this idea came the birth of “Mamaleh and Tateleh’s.”
We provide a top of the line living residential environment that caters to the needs of our cherished Jewish Seniors. We specialize in residents with mild cognitive impairment, dementia and Alzheimer’s. The self-esteem of our residents is of utmost importance to our highly trained staff. And if it’s matzo ball soup you are looking for, we have the best one around! There are five spots left. Prices range from $3,700 to $5,000 dollars per month. This price includes everything from undergarments to extra special individualized care. If our residents need extra care, or they require additional assistance, the price does not increase. We have a chef that prepares authentic Jewish dinners and Shabbot is observed. We provide transportation to temple, doctor and dentist appointments and even trips to the mall!
