Prior to medical school, he conducted research at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He graduated at the top of his class from New York Medical College with multiple honors and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his internship in General Surgery at the University of Southern California and finished his General Surgery and Plastic Surgery residency training at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Following, he completed an aesthetic surgery fellowship with Baker, Stuzin and Baker in Miami. In his final year, he returned to Brown University as an instructor in Plastic Surgery.
