We all know Santa Clarita is a town for fun community events, park concerts, local plays and local outings, but what about Hollywood style entertainment? Most of us wouldn’t think that powerful entertainment performers would be playing in our backyard, but Marks Brothers Entertainment group has done just that. They say they have only one goal and that is to bring top-name live entertainment to Santa Clarita. The COC Performing Arts Center opened their doors to the new entertainment group. With an overwhelming amount of excitement, the month of January brought Kool and the Gang and February ended with country star Blake Shelton. Nearly every seat in the theater was filled for the Blake Shelton concert. One concert attendee who is local to the valley, attested, “It’s one of the best things to ever come to Santa Clarita.” With lively opening acts and a night full of high entertainment, everyone who attended got to be part of something new in Santa Clarita. The best part is that there is more entertainment to look forward to in the future. Jay Menez of Marks Brothers said they were there to offer a variety of programs from 70s to country to pop. There is plenty of entertainment to please every audience and Marks Brothers holds true, “It’s LA fun without the LA drive.”
