“The home is only functional if it reflects the people who live there. You don’t have to sacrifice good design principles to have a lived-in, comfortable home,” says Carolyn West, co-owner of Cozy Chic Designs. Carolyn, along with her business partner, Jodi Rosen, started Cozy Chic Designs to provide their clients with an easy-going, casual way of creating a well designed home.
Cozy Chic works with the homeowners to interpret their personal interests and family lifestyle. “We are taking a house and turning it into a home,” says Jodi Rosen. “It is so important for the entire family to feel comfortable and proud of their surroundings.” The cookie-cutter idea of what a model house should be just isn’t practical for every family. Each family has different needs, whether it be changing wall colors or buying new furniture.
