In these tough times it is common sense to tighten our financial belts.  We are definitely not going to fly or drive as much as we did last year. We cut back on luxury items like going to restaurants, getting our nails done and frivolous shopping. Your health should not be included on this list of luxuries. Maintaining good medical and dental health is a great investment!
Healthy teeth and gums add to our well being.  Dental problems drag down our immune system, make us more susceptible to other illnesses, cause us to lose time from work and school, and ultimately create a lot of stress.  Those stresses are completely avoidable!  Preventative dental care, good oral hygiene, dental exams, and proactive care can keep you healthy and your smile gleaming.

We are presently seeing a lot of dental procrastination.  It makes me wonder where the forethought is.  You wouldn’t save money by not doing basic maintenance on your car.  You would be worried about you and your family’s safety.  What if the car breaks down?  If you procrastinate it will create more problems which will ultimately be more time consuming and costly.  Not a good idea.  The same goes for your health.  The proactive investment in your personal health is less costly and time consuming, and definitely more rewarding.
