Laughter and soothing tunes of “Smooth Jazz” was heard throughout the Valencia Country Club on September 6 due to the astounding talent that participated in the first annual “Santa Clarita Jazz Festival” as part of the Russ Group’s Jazz Concert Series.
Celebrity host, comedian and actor Lewis Dix was the heart of the evening, as he kept guests on laughing throughout the night, while recording artists such as Kim Waters, Jeff Lorber, Joyce Cooling and the Urban Jazz Coalition created the great music that brought on the soul. The beautiful outdoor setting was the perfect backdrop for this truly amazing evening of great food and jazz.
