Owners, Maral Sabounjian and Natacha Matar, who also happen to be best friends along with the great help of their friend and chef Omaya Saab, take great pride in the food and service that they provide. Maral says that “Owning this bakery is more than just a job for us; it’s about passing down traditions as well as introducing the food and a part of our culture to those who have never experienced it before.”
This love for what they do definitely shines through in their delicious creations. See for yourself; try their signature manaish (wild thyme mixture with sesame seeds, olive oil and spices) , Soujoukh (Armenian Sausage) and egg pie or meat and egg pie for breakfast. Stop by for lunch and enjoy the delectable hommous or tabouleh, a Lebanese salad made with parsley, cracked wheat, tomatoes, olive oil and lemon juice. Try the lahmajune (Armnenian pizza) or maybe a shawerma sandwich (tender sliced steak pieces marinated in the most authentic Lebanese way), wrapped in their fluffy signature dough. Why not pick up dinner on the way home? Try their stuffed grape leaves, Lebanese and Greek salads, and savory cheese or meat wraps, Lebanese cookies or sinfully delicious baklava are all sure to please your palate.
