Helping Hands International is a non-profit organization that was born after the mayhem that took place in the fall of 2007 in Kenya. After the governmental election in Kenya, riots and violence left many people homeless and displaced today. This is a dire situation that has left many injured and unable to get medical attention. Helping Hands International Foundation Inc. is extending a helping hand to the people of Kenya by providing assistance for the displaced citizens along with many Medical Missions. Currently in the works is preparation for a planned Medical Mission in November 2009. On this mission, Helping Hands International Foundation Inc. will set up a Trauma Center at The National Hospital that will serve neighboring hospitals throughout Kenya. The Introductory Gala Event will be held in the Apollo Room at The Odyssey Restaurant in Granada Hills California on December 5, 2008. This black tie event starts at 7 p.m. with dinner, and the festivities go until midnight. Here is your chance to celebrate the holidays supporting a noble cause.
