New Year’s Eve! This will be our 11th New Year’s Eve party and J.R.’s Comedy Club, and this year we have outdone ourselves. Every year we bring in the New Year with two huge parties inside Marie Callender’s.
We have East Coast New Year from 5:15 p.m. until 9 p.m. This show starts with a special dinner at 5:15 p.m. inside our showroom. After enjoying dinner, an amazing show will start with two All Star Headline Comedians.
First we have Jack Mayberry, who has made 25 appearances on the Tonight Show with both Johnny and Jay. Jack is simply one of the best comedians in the country. He is from West Texas and he will remind you of Ross Perot. His stories about his Grand Dad remembering where everything didn’t used to be will make you laugh till you cry!
After Jack, Pete George will hit the stage with comedy, music, and some of the silliest most hysterical material you will ever see. Pete was mistakenly put into Special Ed as a child, and has made a career out of talking about it on stage. He is also a world-class guitar player.
At 9 p.m., (midnight on the East Coast) my wife and your host, Diana will count down the New Year. There will be a champagne toast for everyone!
Our second show audience will arrive at 8:15 p.m. for dinner on the restaurant side of Marie Callender and move into the show room for the same terrific comedian at about 10:15 p.m. The second show will have the countdown at midnight with a champagne toast. The cost for either show is $64 per person.
This has become our favorite night of the year. Please make plans to be part of the fun and part of the J.R.’s Comedy Club family!
