Homeowners Referral Network, providing free contractor referrals to homeowners, is celebrating their 5th anniversary. Bonnie Stauch, owner of the popular referral service, is well established with over 1,000 clients that select HRN to hire licensed, insured and experienced contractors. The 100 contractors partnered with Bonnie provide free estimates in over 34 areas of service, ranging from electrical to complete additions or remodels. They also offer commercial bids. Homeowners Referral Network (HRN) refers contractors that have met the business criteria: licensed, five plus years experience, insured and bonded, and references on file. The contractors are local area professionals who provide quality craftsmanship to homeowners. The clients select a contractor that best meets their need, receiving three bids through HRN. The final decision is between the homeowner and contractor, with HRN providing continuous customer service during the project.
Bonnie’s business began in 2004 when she discovered a need for a reliable means of hiring professional contractors for various home tasks. After months of meeting with contractors and pre-screening on backgrounds, licensing, and other criteria, the business started with about 20 “core” contractors. Throughout the years, Bonnie continues to screen additional contractors and expand the services offered homeowners. The infrequent requests such as epoxy floors, concrete driveways, fencing, and home theatre systems have been added to the growing list of services. If you seek a contractor type that isn’t already partnered with HRN, Bonnie will work to locate a contractor in that profession for your benefit. Many clients are repeat customers, and enjoy the reliability of the business. HRN saves clients time when seeking contractors, having done all the legwork for you!
Involvement in the Santa Clarita Valley community keeps Bonnie active outside the contractor referral business. An active member and Ambassador with the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce, Bonnie participates in Chamber-related events. She is past President of a local business networking group and current member of Dynamic Networking Alliance. She and her family reside locally, and have two grown children. Bonnie and her husband enjoy hiking the local trails and this past summer, completed a 17-mile hike to the top of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park. The two also have been AYSO referees, and enjoy the SCV community, their home of 20 years.
