So, here we are — part six!  If you have been following this particular editorial since part one, then you have seen the connection between unity and encouragement, unity and hope, unity and comfort, and unity and love.  Together we have walked through exactly why it is so important to have unity within our community.  Unity brings a level of healing and restoration that our society desperately needs.  If you have not already done so, I encourage you to make up in your mind to do your part to promote unity within your personal surroundings.  If each of us made a personal decision to simply impact our house enough so that our households are united, I believe our households will begin to influence the neighbors.  The neighbors will begin to influence the neighborhood.  The neighborhood will begin to influence the community.  The community will begin to influence the city.  The city will begin to influence entire regions.  Entire regions will begin to influence the state.  The state will begin to influence the country.  The country will begin to influence the world.  Always, dream big and believe big!  How nice would it be if our world as a whole had a heightened sense of awareness toward exemplifying unity?

It all begins with us as individuals.  If we want to see this encouragement, hope, comfort, love, healing, restoration, and confidence permeate throughout society, then the question must be asked and answered – are you doing your part? Despite how you feel, have you done your part in promoting unity?  We all have areas in our lives where we can show a little more love and encouragement.  Locate that area in your life and determine that from here on out you are going to go above and beyond in showing unity.  Maybe, just maybe, your house is the house that God desires to use to jump start your neighbors.
