For most expectant mothers, pregnancy is an experience that they blissfully share with their partners. For many of our military families, the call to duty leaves expectant mothers behind to face delivery alone. Stork Vision together with CAPPA has a plan to provide “A Hand to Hold ‘til They All Come Home.”
In the month of March, Stork Vision has partnered with CAPPA (Child and Postpartum Professional Association) for Operation Special Delivery. Operation Special Delivery is a campaign to raise awareness and funds to ensure that these military mothers don’t have to give birth alone. We believe “Having your loved one deployed is hard enough. Giving birth alone is unbearable.”
Operation Special Delivery provides labor doulas at no cost to pregnant military mothers. The Valencia Stork Vision location would love to donate ultrasounds to some of these courageous mothers. Stork Vision is seeking nominations for deserving military families. We also welcome donations to Operation Special Delivery. All donations are tax deductible.
