On Friday, January 30 members of the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce as well as guests filled the Valencia Hyatt to attend the 85th Annual Chamber Installation Dinner.
The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce celebrated and applauded outgoing chair Charles Gill as he handed over the gavel to incoming chair Bill Kennedy. Special awards were also bestowed upon unknowing recipients like Sue Renyolds of Newmarket Careers as well as Moe and Linda Hafizi, who received the Chairman of the Year award. A special honor that the Hafizi’s were surprised and delighted by.
Along with the festivities honoring Gill for his service and promoting Kennedy and the newly elected Board of Directors to their posts of responsibility, the Chamber will honor businesses and individuals for their achievement.
It was a lovely night of celebration for all as business owners alike honored each other and promoted business growth in 2009.
