The Stone Gallery, Inc. has been a major importer of top-quality natural stone slabs since 1990.  Real granite and marble countertops and floors are unparalleled in beauty, quality, durability, and even price; they should always be considered over man-made countertops which are often misleadingly advertised as less expensive and easier to maintain.  A several-million-year-old slab of granite is a work of art, and we invite you to enjoy this “art” at our showroom and indoor warehouse—located at 8647 San Fernando Road, in Sun Valley.  Our friendly sales staff is able to assist you with design and fabrication ideas, and we are always happy to allow you to hand-pick your slabs from our vast inventory.
In addition to supplying marble and granite, and in keeping with our Italian traditions, the Stone Gallery is currently importing wood-burning ovens direct from the manufacturer in Italy.  Wood-burning, or “pizza ovens” have been used in outdoor cooking for centuries in Italy, and are currently gaining popularity here in the U.S.  They have been featured on home-improvement shows on television and showcased in design magazines as an appliance equally as important as the outdoor grill.

In the time it takes to heat coals on a grill, the wood in the Pizza Oven conducts temperatures of up to 600 degrees and pizzas are baked in as little as five minutes!  Grilled vegetables, baked breads and pastas, roasted meats and poultry are all cooked away from the flames, using heat conducted on the oven floor.  The dome-shaped structure of the oven allows the radiant heat to be absorbed and retained for hours, and the convection flow of heat inside creates balanced cooking.  The temperature of the oven is controlled by regulating the size of the flame.

For entertainment purposes, serving pizza is a delicious and inexpensive alternative to grilling burgers or steaks.  At a pizza party, dough is rolled out, toppings are offered, and everyone assembles their own pizza — the 48-inch ovens accommodate three pizzas at a time!  The ovens can also be installed indoors, with proper venting.
The Stone Gallery offers wood-burning ovens in easy-to-assemble kits.  The ovens are igloo-shaped and require exterior finishing, which can be done in many ways to complement your décor.
