On February 21, Canyon Country Little League celebrated their opening day with a pregame festivity renaming Field #3 to Wigdor Field in honor of Sheldon and Janella Wigdor. For over 20 years, the Wigdors have been very involved with the Canyon Country Little League (CCLL) and have been dedicated volunteers during that time. Sheldon, who also served as the games umpire, threw out the first pitch of the season on the newly named field.
