ROOMS & BLOOMS, which was most recently located at the Kohl’s Shopping Center on McBean Parkway and Valencia Boulevard, has moved to a new location on Lyons Avenue. Inside the new ROOMS & BLOOMS guests are invited to take a freshly brewed cup of coffee or tea to the long flower-lined porch or enjoy it while browsing the shop’s wide assortment of gifts for home, garden and baby.
In the past year the shop has expanded their selection of baby gifts and has become a destination for shoppers who want out-of-the-ordinary, special gifts for babies. Some of the lines they carry include Bunnies-By-The-Bay, Ju-Ju-Be and Little Giraffe and most are discounted below retail.
The new shop has a large selection of “peace-inspired” earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings as well as items in sterling silver. They also carry a large selection of English Ivy topiaries, which they have become known for. Many customers pick up their architectural highlights such as distressed iron switch plate covers and wall décor.
The new space also allows room for ROOMS & BLOOMS wholesale business of manufacturing “Instant Attraction” Magnet Bulletin Boards, which Rhonda designs artwork for. These feature colorful graphics and hold photos, recipes, reminders and more. They include magnets in the shape of fleur-de-lis, doves, crosses and crowns to name a few.
Since the shop is adjacent to Our Lady Perpetual Help Catholic Church, the store has started carrying a wide assortment of Baptismal and Communion gifts including rosaries, Bibles, bracelets and jewelry. ROOMS & BLOOMS is one the only places in Santa Clarita that carries The Vatican Library Collection. These are stunning reproductions of rosaries, bracelets and other items featured in The Vatican Library. A portion of each sale is returned to the Vatican.
ROOMS & BLOOMS is located at 23127 Lyons Avenue in the Golden Oak Pavilion, Newhall. The shop’s high ceilings and galvanized-metal walls reflect the character of the Western-themed architecture. More importantly the shop emphasizes shopping as entertainment and selling great things at reasonable prices, which have always been part of the Colemans’ goals. Customers are always wowed by the space and often call it Santa Clarita’s own little Anthropology.
