Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Health Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its Board of Directors: Scott Wilk, Vice President of Anchor Consulting, and Apo Yessayan, owner of Classic Designs Jewelry.
With a mission dedicated to raising important funds for the hospital’s capital needs and encouraging positive community awareness of vital healthcare services, community support is the heart of Henry Mayo Foundation’s success.
“We are indebted to all our volunteer board members for their wealth of knowledge, guidance and support,” said Diana Vose, Henry Mayo Foundation president. “We look forward to Scott and Apo’s expertise in helping us to develop long-range goals to continue achieving our mission.”
For Wilk, a Valencia resident, being a member of the board will serve his desire to improve the community and be a part of something “larger than himself.”
“We are blessed to have a thriving non-profit community hospital, especially in these uncertain economic times,” Wilk said. “Working with my fellow board members, my hope is to raise the funds necessary to implement Henry Mayo’s 15-year master plan. This plan will ensure that the Santa Clarita Valley community has the best health care possible.”
Yessayan, also from Valencia, has a passion for helping organizations that cater to the Santa Clarita Valley, specifically in the area of healthcare.
“The Henry Mayo Foundation Board is one of the premier boards in the Santa Clarita Valley and I‘m excited to be a part of it,” Yessayan said. “As a community, we need to be involved with our local hospital to help them grow and become stronger, not only financially, but in every aspect.”
