Adults may recognize him as LOST’s young Ben Linus. Kids may know him from Mostly Ghostly. Teen actor Sterling Beaumon came by the office the other day to see the latest issue of élite Magazine, where he is featured on the cover. Sterling has been busy working on the new feature animation film Astro Boy, set to come out this October. Check out the June/July issue of élite to learn more about this young star. Actor Ty Hardin made a guest appearance at Tesoro Adobe Historical Park during the Santa Clarita Artists Association Hoedown on May 30. He is seen here with SCAA artist Olga Kaczmar. Ty played the starring role in the ABC western television series Bronco, which ran from 1958 until 1962.
For all you motocross fans, Metal Mulisha riders Jimmy Fitzpatrick and Todd Potter entertained the fans at Saugus Speedway at the Iron Circus. Born in Whittier, Jimmy started riding at the age of five and turned pro at age 20. He currently rides a Honda CR 250 and resides in Temecula. Metal Mulisha teammate Todd Potter is also a California native, born in Corona. He, too, started riding at the age of five, but turned pro at 17. He took the Bronze at the ESPN Moto X Championships for Best Trick in 2008, Gold in the X Games Best Whip, and Bronze in X Games Best Trick. He’s also taken Gold and Bronze in the X Games Mexico and Brazil.
The stars of ABC Family’s Make It or Break It were seen at Waller’s GymJam Academy in Santa Clarita. Actress Josie Loren, who plays Kaylie Cruz, and Ayla Kell, who plays Payson Keeler, came to meet, greet and sign autographs for some of Santa Clarita’s local gymnasts. Make It or Break It, filmed in Santa Clarita, premiered on June 22.
