I have discovered that one of the main differences between happiness and the lack thereof is perception. The same can be said about the difference between one who experiences a feeling of success and one who experiences a feeling of failure. Personally, I do not believe in failure. I only believe in succeeding at finding out new ways in which things do and do not work. I have never failed at anything. However, I have discovered plenty of ways in which things do not work. It is all about perception.
Ultimately, perception is the basis for all of our occasions for joy and celebration as well as those occasions, which cause us to be less joyful and celebratory. It is important to understand that it is impossible to have a testimony without first having a test. It is impossible to have a powerful message without first having a mess. For the biggest and most powerful testimonies were birthed out of the biggest and most powerful tests. Your life’s biggest message will be birthed out of your life’s biggest mess. Tests in school occur in an attempt to see how well prepared we are for the next level. They are not designed to hold us back, but in fact they are designed to help us move forward. Tests in life work the same way as well.
They are designed to see how well prepared we are for the next level. God does not allow them in order to hold us down or hold us back. But, He allows them so that we can graduate spiritually from our current positioning in Him to the next level of faith and trust in Him. At the end of the day, understand that every test is connected to both a testimony and a spiritual advancement in God.
