weSPARK is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for cancer patients and their families and friends. As part of our mission, this summer weSPARK is tickled to announce that a fun program is scheduled for July. Shelley Winsor, personal stylist, and our own Lenora Gutierrez, make-up artist, will be coming in to address fashion and beauty tips. It is a going to be a month of informative and casual classes as these two professionals teach our guests how to look their best. On Wednesday, July 1, Shelley will teach guests how to cleanse their closets of clothing and accessories that they no longer wear. She will also talk about putting together a functional wardrobe that best suits their bodies’ shapes and complements their individual lifestyles. Guests will also learn the bare bones basics: the “must haves” for your closet as well as the “essentials” that will help you to create a fully stylish wardrobe.
On Wednesday, July 8, Shelley will teach guests how to mix up the basics and essentials so that dressing can be fun, functional and stylish while still representing who you are. She will emphasize how to add in accessories and combine interesting pieces to enhance you wardrobe. In addition, she will teach guests how to dress their “trouble spots” and review body shape issues. The third week, July 15, Shelley is going to talk about creating your most flattering silhouette. At the end of this session, someone will win a “Closet Cleanse” and a “Shopping with Shelley” gift certificate.
Finally, on Wednesday, July 22, Lenora Gutierrez will teach our guests how to do a quick-and-easy, daily makeup application. It will take into account your age, skin type and the important “to-dos” of makeup application. This is going to be a fun and casual look at beauty and fashion. We hope you will join us at weSPARK Cancer Support Center on the first four Wednesdays in July at 4 p.m.
