Since 1991, The Brittany Foundation has helped to place over 1300 dogs into loving homes. We currently have 90 dogs at our no-kill sanctuary in Agua Dulce, California. While many of our dogs find homes, we provide a forever sanctuary for those who don’t.
If you are a dog lover that wants to help, there are so many ways to contribute to our lifesaving efforts:
• Sign Up for Ralphs Grocery Store’s Community Contribution program. Just shop at Ralphs and each time you use your Ralphs card you will earn money for The Brittany Foundation. Register at Ralphs website www.ralphs.com, click on “Community Contribution”, then “Participant” and enter our code: 82375.
• Donate items to our monthly garage sales. We will pick up and give you a receipt for your taxes. Email us at kken1313@aol.com or g.tucci@sbcglobal.net for more information.
• Fundraise – Host a garage sale, bake sale, dog wash, donation drive, or any kind of sales event in our honor and donate the proceeds. We can also use corporate sponsors to host a “Brittany Foundation” day where a percentage of sales proceeds from a day or period of time would benefit our sanctuary. • Make a wish come true. Our constant wish list items include: laundry detergent, bleach, honey, six foot leashes, white letter-sized copy paper, ink cartridges and gift cards for Staples, Costco, Home Depot, Petco or Petsmart. Our larger item wishes include a new, high capacity washer and dryer, lateral filing cabinets, and landscaping/lawn furniture for our dog run, aka Project Dogway. • Volunteer – Our dogs love people and really appreciate the volunteers that come to the sanctuary. You can help by cleaning kennels, walking or playing with dogs, grooming and bathing, assisting at offsite adoption and fundraising events, or office work and grant writing. • Sponsor, foster or adopt – Of course, our biggest dream is for all our dogs to find homes. If you are looking for a four-legged companion, consider one of the beautiful Brittany dogs. We have all shapes and sizes to choose from. Can’t quite make the commitment for life? Consider fostering. By taking a dog into your home until they get adopted, you increase their social skills and chances for success. Lastly, consider sponsoring your favorite Brittany dog(s) for as little as $10 per month.
