I would like to take a moment to say thank you to the Santa Clarita Valley, Stevenson Ranch and Castaic residents who have trusted Rayne Water for advice for their water treatment.  These past several months have been confusing for many.  I am truly honored to have been invited into your homes to address this sensitive issue and for the opportunity to earn your business.
For those who have been unable, for whatever reason, to meet the June 30 deadline for removal of your automatic water softener, I will probably still be able to help you.  As a fiduciary to the L.A. County Sanitation District, I have made arrangements for each individual that I submit an application for to receive consideration on a case-by-case basis.  The LACSD is more concerned with gaining compliance with their ordinance than prosecution and fines.  They are fully prepared, however, to do so when necessary.

Also, please understand that I am not an enforcement arm for the District.  My job is to assist you in complying with the ordinance if you choose to do so and to explain what the approved alternatives are.

You may call me anytime for more information about this.  I do not need your name and address to answer your questions.  If you decide to turn in your automatic softener, I will act as an advocate for you, forward an application on your behalf and may still be able to get a rebate check sent directly to you.

I can assure you that the District will not fine you if you comply, but please allow me this opportunity as soon as possible.  I doubt we will be permitted this consideration for much longer.

Please call me anytime with your questions and concerns.  Again thank you and as always, good health to all.
