A new place 1.pngOn Friday, August 7, many community members had reason to celebrate as the College of the Canyons’ new Culinary Arts teaching facility was finally complete and ready for the students.  A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the new facility, which is located in a former restaurant space at the Westfield Valencia Town Center. 
Speaking at the event was Mrs. Joan MacGregor, Dr. Dianne G. Van Hook, Audrey Green, Cindy Schwanke and Murray Wood.  Formerly housed at COC’s Valencia campus cafeteria, the new facility is much larger, and the layout and design will help the Culinary Arts program to expand by offering classes throughout the day and on weekends.  Bon appétit!
