Last time we talked about frontal headaches, one of the most often seen headaches. Today, we want to talk about side headaches. The meridian line goes though the side of the head so it is obvious that side headaches come from problems in the liver and the gall bladder. Through Asian traditional medicine, we can see that modern health abnormalities have a large connection with liver problems. Side headaches is just one of them. Getting a lot of stress causes the liver to heat up, causing damage to the meridian line of the liver. This causes the headache, and it is not easily cured. However, treating it with acupuncture and Asian traditional medicine (herbal tea) helps to cope with stress, which ultimately helps to eliminate the headaches. When untreated, the headaches can lead to red eyes, dry eyes, high blood pressure, and even diabetes and, therefore, this type of headache must be treated as soon as possible.
