We are hoping for at least 100. J.R.’s Comedy Club is proud to be producing our Celebrity Golf Classic at Robinson Ranch on October 12. All proceeds for this event will be going to the Santa Clarita Homeless Shelter. Each golf foursome will play with a nationally known headlining comedian. After the very fun day of golf, there will be a gala dinner and comedy show, with many of the comics performing five minutes each.
We desperately need your help. We need golfers. If you don’t golf, maybe your husband does. Someone you know does. We need donations of any kind for our silent auction. Gift baskets, restaurant certificates, spa treatments, any kind of merchandise at all will make a huge difference. We also have 150 seats available for the dinner and show, which will be one of the all-time classic comedy shows ever seen. These tickets are $75 each, and include a superb dinner and a fantastic night of laughs.
There will be a putting contest with comedians heckling as you putt. There will be a hole on which all golfers must use the same club for every shot, drive through putt. That is just the start of the fun. The golfers will enjoy the company of a very funny comedian while they relax on a fantastic golf course. All for a very good cause.
You will hear a moving testimonial from someone who has been put back on their feet thanks to the generous hearts of people who fund the shelter.
