If you are a parent, I am sure you would agree that being a parent can be one of the most challenging jobs you will ever have in this lifetime. Whether you have a child in diapers, one who is going through the terrible two’s, one who will not talk because he has an iPod stuck in his ear, or one that you’re running from one event to the next — parenting is hard work! Most parents would agree that they want nothing more than to have a great relationship with their kids. A relationship where there is constant communication between the parent and the child. Where you are respected as a parent and you value your child. So how do we do that? How do we parent in such a way that our family will relate better together? How do we build relationships that will last a lifetime and be passed on for generations to come?

On Sunday, November 1, Valencia Hills Community Church has an awesome opportunity for parents just like you! It’s called “Start with the Heart.”  This regional parenting seminar is designed for parents of children ages two to 18. Throughout the seminar you will learn hands-on strategies that will change the way your family relates to each other. The presenter uses humor, drama, and real-life stories to illustrate a practical approach to family life. If you attend the “Start with the Heart” seminar you will walk away feeling refreshed, encouraged and armed with specific plans that work.

Join us on Sunday, November 1 from 2 p.m to 6 p.m. at the Valencia High School Theater for an afternoon that could change the way your family does life together. This is an event you do not want to miss!  The cost for the seminar is $25 a couple and $15 per individual.
