George and Sheri Rifold, with roots in Valencia, looked to their hometown as the ideal location to continue building on the success of their first restaurant — George’s Bistro in Santa Monica.
In 2006, the Rifolds opened their second family owned and operated restaurant — George’s Bistro in Santa Clarita. , located in the Gateway Village shopping center, at 28261 Newhall Ranch Road on the corner of Newhall Ranch Road and Rye Canyon.
George and Sheri’s desire was to serve the employees at the nearby industrial park, the families in the residential area and the socialites who wanted a top-notch local restaurant with great food, in a fun atmosphere. With their daughter, Diana, as their general manager, they are meeting all their goals and earning a stellar reputation for serving exceptional food at reasonable prices.
The California cuisine menu offers “something for everyone.” On Tuesday’s they offer “Mission ImPASTAble,” pasta dinners at half price and to further express their versatility they now have an exciting new breakfast, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
